I am planning on using morning meeting again. I haven't used it in two years, but have realized from reading this that it is so important to include it. I have been stressing so much about getting in all the academics that I have forgot about how important it is for the social aspect.
ReplyDeleteI have the same struggle! But we usually review so many academic concepts with Morning Message FOR Morning Meeting that I feel like Morning Meeting is completely justified. A lot of times, Nancy and I write them on Friday for the entire next week incorporating those academic concepts. If more than one of you do the same thing, it helps A LOT to make them ahead of time with someone else. We've loved it.
